Our client is a global sourcing organization with business in personal care and cosmetic products. The company is seeking a Product Manager for its global market.

THE POSITION - Product Manager (Personal Care)

Based in Hong Kong and reporting to the Vice President, who is located in Hong Kong, the Product Manager, will liaise directly with their clients and work with vendors in product develop, sourcing, quality standard requirement, production and shipment.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for product sourcing and development and maintains communication with clients.
• Understand client needs, and adapt suitable response.
• Manage a small and dynamic team and able to lead the team in achieving sales target in a competitive market by sourcing new products at good price.
• Travel to see clients as required.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

• 5 years or above relevant experiences in personal care, health & beauty products such as skin lotion, shampoo, body soap & lotion, etc, and health care equipment such as massager, thermometer, blood pressure monitor, weight loss equipment.
• Knowledge in quality and safety requirement of health & beauty product
• Knowledge in aromatherapy product and health food/supplement is added advantage.
• Good communication skills and a good team player.
• Detail oriented, organized, mobile (able to frequent when necessary), and energetic.
• Calm and reassuring to clients, having an international outlook.
• The candidate should possess good negotiation skills.
• Proactive, with a tenacious personality and lots of initiative.
• Ideally, the candidate speaks Mandarin and must communicate clearly in English.
